The 40 rarest badges right now

Ranked by win rate — the share of players who met the badge and earned it — lowest first. Roblox reports that figure to three decimals, so the hardest badges all read under 0.1%; among those, the one with fewest total awards is the rarer. Two badges per game maximum, so one achievement-heavy grinder cannot take the whole table.

Badge counts by game

How many badges each of the biggest games has put out. A long list means a game built around achievement hunting; two or three means the badges mark real milestones. Roblox serves at most 100 badges per request, so a game sitting exactly on that number is shown as 100+ rather than pretending that is the total.

How rarity is measured here — and what it cannot tell you

Roblox attaches three numbers to every badge: total awards ever, awards in the last 24 hours, and a win rate — the share of players who came across the badge and actually earned it. The win rate is the honest rarity signal, because raw award counts just track how popular the game is: a badge given to fifteen million Murder Mystery 2 players can still be rarer, in proportion, than one given to a thousand players of a game nobody plays.

The limit worth knowing about is precision. That win rate arrives rounded to three decimal places, so every badge rarer than roughly one player in a thousand reports as a flat zero. Roughly a third of the badges we scan land there. We do not invent a number to fill the gap — those rows read "under 0.1%" and are ordered by how few people have ever earned them, which is the only other hard figure Roblox gives us.

Badge questions

What are Roblox badges?

Badges are achievements a game hands out for doing something specific — finishing a tutorial, beating a boss, reaching a level, finding a hidden room. Developers create them inside their own experience and award them through a script, so every badge belongs to one game rather than to Roblox itself. They sit permanently on your profile under the Badges tab.

How do I earn a Roblox badge?

Play the game and do whatever the badge description says. There is no way to buy or claim one from outside the experience: the award comes from the game server calling AwardBadge on your user ID at the moment you meet the condition. If a badge is event-locked or the developer has since removed the code that grants it, it becomes unobtainable no matter how long you play.

What does the win rate on a badge mean?

Roblox publishes a win-rate statistic for every badge: the share of players who encountered the badge and actually earned it. A win rate of 5% means roughly one player in twenty gets it. It is reported to three decimal places, so anything rarer than about 0.1% shows up as zero — those badges are the genuinely brutal ones, and we rank them by total awards instead.

Can Roblox badges be traded or sold?

No. Badges are not items, they have no inventory entry, and they cannot be traded, sold, gifted or transferred between accounts in any way. They are also not the same thing as the classic Roblox player badges (Welcome to the Club, Bricksmith and so on), which were awarded by Roblox itself and are no longer obtainable.

Can a badge be removed once you have it?

A developer can delete a badge from their game, which removes it from every profile that had it, and Roblox can strip badges awarded through exploits. You cannot remove a badge from your own profile yourself — there is no delete button — although you can hide the whole Badges section by making your inventory private.

Do badges give you anything in game?

Only if the developer chose to make them do something. Many games check whether you own a badge and unlock a title, a spawn, an item or a shortcut in response. On their own, badges are bragging rights: a permanent public record on your profile that you did the thing.
