How to Clear the Roblox Cache
Roblox caches textures, sounds and app data to load faster. When the cache corrupts you get grey textures, endless loading or crashes — clearing it is safe and fixes a surprising number of problems.
1. Windows
Close Roblox. Press Win+R, type %temp%\Roblox and delete the contents. For a deeper clean also clear the Roblox folder inside %localappdata%. Roblox rebuilds everything on next launch.
2. Mac
Quit Roblox, then in Finder use Go > Go to Folder and open ~/Library/Caches, and delete the Roblox cache folder there.
3. iOS and Android
On Android: long-press the Roblox app > App info > Storage > Clear cache (not Clear data — that logs you out). On iOS there is no cache button; deleting and reinstalling the app has the same effect.
4. Restart and test
Launch Roblox again. First load is slower while the cache rebuilds — that is expected. Your account, items and settings are untouched.

No. Items live on your account on Roblox’s servers. The cache is only local copies of textures and sounds.
Only when something is wrong. There is no benefit to clearing a healthy cache — it just makes the next launch slower.
