How to Gift Robux to a Friend
There is no “send Robux” button on Roblox, which is why so many scams pretend to be one. But there are three legitimate routes to put Robux in a friend’s pocket.
1. The simplest: a gift card
Buy a Roblox gift card (physical or digital) and give them the code. They redeem it for Robux directly. This is the cleanest method and works for any account.
2. The classic: buy their gamepass
Have your friend create a gamepass in any experience they own, priced at what you want to give. Buy it. Roblox takes its 30% cut, and the rest reaches them as earned Robux after the payout hold (a few days to a month).
3. For groups: group payouts
If you run a Roblox group with group funds, you can pay out Robux directly to members from the group admin page. This is how communities and studios pay people.
4. Avoid everything else
Any website or player promising to “send free Robux”, double your Robux or transfer between accounts is a scam, and sharing your password to “receive” Robux ends with a stolen account.

Roblox takes 30% of any sale, including gamepass gifts. To land a specific amount, price the pass at about 143% of the target.
Sale proceeds sit in a pending state — typically up to 30 days for newer sellers — before becoming spendable.
