How to Gift Robux to a Friend

1. The direct route: a Plus transfer

Roblox Plus subscribers can send Robux straight to another player from that player’s profile or the Buy Robux page, with no platform fee taken. The person receiving does not need Plus, both of you must have completed an age check, and anyone under 16 needs a linked parent to approve every transfer. The limits are 500 Robux a day and 1,000 a month, or 5,000 and 10,000 with 2-step verification on. Transfers are final.

2. The simplest: a gift card

Buy a Roblox gift card (physical or digital) and give them the code. They redeem it as Roblox Credit, then spend that credit on Robux. This works for any account, with no subscription on either side.

3. The classic: buy their gamepass

Have your friend create a gamepass in any experience they own, priced at what you want to give. Buy it. Roblox takes its 30% cut, and the rest reaches them as earned Robux once the pending hold clears.

4. For groups: group payouts

If you run a Roblox group with group funds, you can pay out Robux directly to members from the group admin page. This is how communities and studios pay people.

5. Avoid everything else

Any website or player promising to “send free Robux”, double your Robux or transfer between accounts is a scam, and sharing your password to “receive” Robux ends with a stolen account. Roblox will never ask you to send Robux to another user to verify anything.
