Roblox Star Codes
Roblox retired star codes on 24 October 2025. There is no star-code field on the Robux checkout any more, so none of them route anything to anyone. Checked 2026-09-28.
What happened
Star codes let you type a creator's name at checkout so Roblox paid them 5% of your purchase — at no cost to you. Roblox removed the programme on 24 October 2025 and folded creator earnings into Creator Rewards, which pays creators for engagement with the experiences they publish instead of for a share of Robux sales. Roblox's own Video Stars Program page now lists a Robux stipend and Creator Rewards access as the benefits, with no mention of star codes.
Plenty of sites still publish month-stamped lists of “working” star codes. They are carrying old entries forward — a retired programme throws no error to notice, the field simply is not there. If you want to support a creator now, play their experiences and buy their gamepasses; that is what Creator Rewards pays on.

Common questions
Do Roblox star codes still work?
No. Roblox removed star codes on 24 October 2025. There is no longer a star-code field on the Robux checkout, so entering one is not possible and nothing is routed to the creator. Lists published after that date showing "working" star codes are copying older lists rather than re-checking.
What replaced star codes?
Creator Rewards. Roblox folded creator earnings into that programme, which pays creators from engagement with the experiences they publish rather than from a cut of Robux purchases. Roblox’s own Video Stars Program page now lists a Robux stipend and access to Creator Rewards as the benefits, and does not mention star codes.
Can I still support a creator when I buy Robux?
Not through the purchase itself — that route no longer exists. What helps a creator now is playing and engaging with the experiences they publish, since Creator Rewards pays out on that. Buying their gamepasses or items in their games also pays them directly.
Why do other sites still list active star codes?
Because code lists are usually carried over month to month rather than re-tested. A retired programme leaves no error message to notice — the field simply is not there any more — so a stale list can go a long time without anyone catching it.
Did I lose anything if I had a star code entered?
No. Star codes never cost the buyer anything or gave the buyer anything — they routed 5% of the sale to the creator at Roblox’s expense. Nothing was deducted from you then, and nothing is owed now.
Codes that do still work
Item codes are a separate system and are unaffected — see working promo codes for the ones that still redeem, cross-checked on 2026-09-28, and game codes for per-experience rewards.
