Roblox Premium — What You Get and Whether It’s Worth It

Checked against how Roblox works on 23 August 2026.

Premium was Roblox’s monthly subscription until 30 April 2026, when Roblox stopped selling it and launched Roblox Plus in its place. Existing members keep Premium and its Robux stipend — but if you are shopping today, Plus is the only subscription you can actually buy.

1. What Roblox Plus gets you

Plus is $4.99 a month and includes no Robux at all. What it does include: 10% off in-game and avatar items, rising to 20% from your third consecutive month, free private servers in supported games, fee-free Robux transfers to other players, and the right to trade, resell and publish avatar items. The Plus 500, Plus 1000 and Plus 2000 bundles add that many Robux every month on top of the same subscription.

2. What Premium still does

If you already subscribe you keep your monthly Robux stipend and can still trade, resell and publish avatar items. Two perks ended on 30 May 2026: the 10% bonus on Robux purchases, and the Premium logo on your profile. Cancel and you cannot resubscribe.

3. The value maths

Plus is a discount rather than an allowance, so it pays for itself only if you actually shop: at 10% off you break even at roughly fifty dollars of item spending a month, and about half that once the discount doubles. The discount does not apply to resold items or anything priced over 1,000,000 Robux.

4. The trading unlock

Trading and reselling limited items needs Plus or Premium on both sides of the trade. With Premium closed to new signups, Plus is now the only way in to the limited-item economy.

5. Subscribe or cancel

Buy Plus on the Roblox website, in the app, or with gift card credit — it is not sold through the Samsung Galaxy Store, Quest or consoles. Cancel any time from Settings, then Subscriptions (or your app store, if you subscribed on mobile) — you keep the perks until the paid period ends.

Common questions

Do I keep my Robux if I cancel?

Yes. Robux already granted stays yours. You only lose the ongoing perks — the stipend, the discount, and the ability to trade or resell limiteds.

Does Roblox Plus come with Robux?

Plain Plus does not — it is a benefits-only subscription. The Plus 500, Plus 1000 and Plus 2000 bundles pair it with 500, 1,000 or 2,000 Robux a month.
