Roblox Premium — What You Get and Whether It’s Worth It
Premium is Roblox’s monthly subscription. You pay a fixed price and get a monthly Robux allowance plus member-only perks. Whether it is worth it depends almost entirely on how you spend Robux.
1. What you actually get
A monthly Robux grant scaled to your tier, the Premium badge, access to trading limited items, occasional Premium-only items and in-game perks, and a 10% bonus when you buy extra Robux on top.
2. The value maths
Premium’s monthly Robux costs slightly less than buying the same Robux one-off — so if you were buying Robux monthly anyway, Premium is simply the better price. If you rarely buy Robux, the subscription does not pay for itself.
3. The trading unlock
Only Premium members can trade limited items. If you care about collecting or flipping limiteds, this is the real reason to subscribe — it is the gate to the whole trading economy.
4. Subscribe or cancel
Buy Premium from the Robux page on the Roblox site or in-app. Cancel any time from your subscription settings (or your app store, if you subscribed on mobile) — you keep the perks until the paid period ends.
Common questions
Yes. Robux already granted stays yours. You only lose the ongoing perks — the monthly grant, trading access and Premium items.
The first grant arrives shortly after subscribing, then monthly on your renewal date.
