Best Roblox Games

Every “best Roblox games” list has the same problem: somebody wrote it once, and Roblox moved on. A game that was inescapable last spring can be empty by autumn, and a hand-curated top ten has no way of noticing. So this one is not hand-curated. It is generated from our own Roblox catalogue, ordered by live concurrent players, and re-ranked every few hours — if a game is dying, it falls off this page on its own.

Ranking by live players is not a perfect definition of “best”, and it is worth being honest about that. It favours the enormous social games over the brilliant small ones, and it will always put a well-marketed new release above a quiet masterpiece. What it does do is answer the question people are actually asking — what is worth loading right now, with enough other people in it to work — and it never lies about what is still alive. For the small and strange, use the genre lists below, where a game only has to be the best of its own kind.

Each row shows live players, lifetime visits and the like ratio where Roblox publishes vote counts, so you can see the difference between a game that is popular and a game that is liked. Those are not the same thing, and the gap between them is usually the most interesting number on the page.
