John in 'Hero Mode'

About this decal

:o Typically, hero mode is drawn in a style that does not display the traditional black outline and instead looks like a completely custom drawing instead of a previously drawn and re-used sprite. It also seems that the proportions of hero mode seem to be just a tad bit different from normal sprite mode (as shown by Rose's multiple hero modes). All in all creating a more dramatic effect for the readers. Sometimes the mode has been known to shine the colors of the character with the alternating colors in the background. homestuck mspa
