Roblox Error Code 267 — What It Means & How to Fix It
Error code 267 means you were kicked from the game by a script. Error 267 is not a Roblox ban — the game itself removed you. Games kick for suspected exploits, AFK timeouts, VIP-server rules, or simply buggy anti-cheat scripts.
1. Rejoin the game
Most 267 kicks are one-offs from an over-eager anti-cheat. Rejoin and play normally; if you get kicked again, the game is flagging something specific about your session.
2. Disable anything that touches the game
Mods, exploit tools, even innocent-looking FPS unlockers or macro tools can trigger a game’s anti-cheat. Close them and rejoin from a clean client.
3. Check your connection stability
Some anti-cheats read badly-lagging players as suspicious. Switch to a stable network and avoid VPNs, which several games kick automatically.
4. If it is one specific game
A game that kicks you every time may have banned you internally (game bans are separate from Roblox bans). There is no appeal except to that game’s own community.
Common questions
No. It is a kick issued by the game you were in. Your Roblox account is untouched, and other games are unaffected.
Anti-cheat scripts produce false positives, especially on laggy connections or unusual devices. Rejoin; repeated kicks in one game mean that game has flagged you.
