How to Trade in Roblox
Trading on Roblox is limited-item trading: rare catalog items changing hands between Premium members. If you expected to trade any item or Robux freely, this is the guide that explains what is actually possible.
1. Meet the requirements
Both sides need Roblox Premium and trading enabled in privacy settings. Only limited and limited-unique items (marked in the catalog) can be traded, plus optionally some Robux on top.
2. Send a trade
Open the other player’s profile and choose Trade Items. Add items from each side; you can include Robux, but Roblox takes 30% of any Robux in a trade.
3. Value the trade properly
Every limited has a Recent Average Price (RAP) shown on its page. Compare total RAP on both sides before accepting — undervalued trades from strangers are almost always deliberate.
4. Dodge the scams
Never trade first on a promise, never go through middlemen, and treat “I’ll pay you back double” as the scam it always is. A trade you cannot verify inside the trade window is not a trade.
