How to Change Your Roblox Password
Changing your password takes a minute in settings — and it is the right moment to switch on 2-step verification, which protects the account even when a password leaks.
1. From settings
Open Settings, find Account Info or Security, and choose the change-password option. You need the current password to set a new one.
2. Forgot the current password?
Log out and use Forgot Password on the login screen — the reset link goes to the email or phone on the account. That flow replaces the password without knowing the old one.
3. Pick a real password
Unique to Roblox, long, and not your username plus a number. Password reuse is how most “hacks” actually happen — one leaked site burns every account sharing the password.
4. Turn on 2-step verification
In security settings, enable 2-step verification with an authenticator app (strongest) or email codes. With it on, a stolen password alone cannot enter your account.

You can choose to log out of all other sessions when changing it — do so if you suspect anyone else has access.
