How to Get Verified on Roblox

People mean three different things by "verified on Roblox": verifying your email, verifying your age with ID, and the blue checkmark next to big creators’ names. Here is how each works.
1. Verify your email
Settings > Account Info > Add email, then click the link Roblox sends you. Do this first on any account — it is what lets you recover the account if you are ever locked out.
2. Verify your age
Roblox calls this an age check and offers two routes, both in Settings > Account Info. Facial Age Estimation is a quick video selfie. ID Verification is the Continue with ID button under your birthday, where you scan a government photo ID and take a matching photo; you must be 13 or over and it works in 180-plus countries. Phone verification is not an age check. An age check unlocks chat features, and an ID-verified age of 17+ unlocks 17+ experiences.
3. The blue Verified badge
The checkmark marks notable, authentic creators and groups, and exists to stop impersonation. Creators cannot apply: meet the criteria and Roblox issues it automatically, in a batch once a month. Brands and public figures go through a Roblox partnership contact instead.
Common questions
No, and anyone selling one is scamming you — trying to buy or spoof it makes you ineligible. It is granted by Roblox to notable creators, groups and brands, and it is revoked automatically if you change your username or display name, or turn off your authenticator app.
Roblox hands the check to Persona, a third-party identity provider, and handles what it keeps under its Privacy Policy. Selfies taken for Facial Age Estimation are deleted once the check finishes. If you are under 18, involve a parent before scanning anything.
