What Platforms Is Roblox On?
Roblox runs on more platforms than almost any game — but not all of them, and the Nintendo Switch question deserves a straight answer.
1. Where Roblox is available
PC (Windows), Mac, iPhone and iPad, Android, Xbox consoles, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Meta Quest VR headsets. One account works everywhere, with your items, Robux and friends shared across all of them.
2. Nintendo Switch: not available
Roblox is not on the Switch or Switch 2, and Roblox has announced no release. The company has said publicly it would like to be on every platform, but as of now there is no Switch version — any video claiming to show one is fake or a workaround.
3. PlayStation, the newest addition
Roblox reached PS4 and PS5 in October 2023 after years of absence. It is a free download from PlayStation Store, and cross-progression with every other platform works out of the box.
4. System requirements, roughly
Roblox runs on remarkably modest hardware — that is the point of it. Any phone from the last several years, any Mac or Windows laptop with integrated graphics, and any current console runs it. If a device struggles, lowering the in-game graphics quality slider fixes more than any other setting.
5. The cloud question
Cloud and browser versions come and go in beta form. When one is genuinely available it appears on the official Roblox site — third-party "play Roblox in browser" services are not Roblox and routinely steal accounts.
Common questions
